End of a great run

BG falls 67-49 to Arizona State. The Falcons were just outplayed today. I give them all the credit in the world for the way they played all season including today. That is a group of great basketball players that lay it all on the line every day.
It’s very sad to see the careers of Ali Mann, Liz Honegger, Carin Horne, Megan Thorburn, Amber Flynn and Julie Gompers end. I doubt MAC fans will ever see another class as good as this one.
I had a great time covering this team this season, hopefully fans stick with them whether times are good or bad. It’s the classiest program on camups.
