Check back soon for my full review. For now take a look at these screen shots.
Can you remember back to 2004? At E3, in May of 2004 to be exact, came the announcement of the PSP system, and with it the unveiling of a portable version of Gran Turismo. Now, five years later, the game will be released alongside the PSP Go, the third revision of the hardware. You will be able to pick up the UMD and digital version (requires 1 GB) on October 1. Was it worth the wait? Sorta.
I will be honest, I have been very skeptical of Demon's Souls, which was developed by Sony and From Software and coming to the States thanks to Atlus. This combination could be hazardous: From Software because they can be hit and miss, all in one year; and Atlus, because their dedication to bringing Role Playing Games to the U.S. can be blind to many gamers. However, any doubt I had has since washed away as I travel in the kingdom of Boletaria. Demon's Souls is one of the most polished, rewarding Action RPGs I have ever played, and is a gem of a game that should not be overlooked.
By now you are likely to know what to expect from a Rock Band game, and I am sure you know if you are a fan of The Beatles or not. You could say that Harmonix and EA took a chance in releasing a band-specific game to compete with Guitar Hero 5, but when that band is one of the most successful and acclaimed bands in history, the pool of casual and hardcore (music) fans out there is pretty large.

It goes without saying, but the older you are, the more you will get out of The Beatles: Rock Band. Maybe this is the game to finally get you into the music/rhythm genre?

Nintendo DSi

Technophiles rejoice, the Nintendo DSi is out. I know C & C Games has them in stock, too. I have a black DSi but do like the teal one too. So why should you care about the DSi?

Nintendo DSi
New features include larger dual screens, improved audio, two cameras and an SD/SDHC card slot. The DSi now has a "Home" menu similar to the Nintendo Wii, and has its own online DSi Shop. There are five games available for purchase at launch, and the web browser is free.

So far I have downloaded WarioWare: Snapped! and Art Style AQUIA (you get 1,000 points free until October 5) and may end up grabbing the Brain Age Express: Math game as it adds a couple DSi-secific features.
Keiko_Awaji_Stray_Dog.jpg Apparently, Keiko Awaji, a famous 73-year-old Japanese actress, commented that she hopes she will be able to play at least two more "Dragon Quest" games before she dies. (For those who don't know, "Dragon Quest" is a traditional role-playing video game series that is wildly popular in Japan, but has only had modest success in North America.)

Can I just say that I love this woman? Any 73-year-old woman who remains aloof enough at her age to worry even slightly that she might die before she sees two more entries in one of her favorite video game series is cool in my book.
