I’m a Pepper!

Did anyone see the “I’m a Pepper” story that was in the news recently? If not then prepare to be amazed. Here is a quick summary of the article I read…
Ben Carpenter, a 22 year old man with Muscular Dystophy, has been in a wheel chair for eight years of his life. While crossing Red Arrow Highway in Paw Paw Michigan, Ben Carpenter was struck by a semi truck leaving his wheel chair attached to the truck’s grille. At about 50 miles per hour, Ben Carpenter traveled about five miles down the road where the driver stopped at a trucking company to drop off his truck. Meanwhile, Paw Paw police were reciecing phone calls about this incident from other traveling on the highway. When the poilce arrived to the scence, Ben Carpenter was still attached to the truck and the driver was absolutley dumbfounded to hear the news. Ben Carpenter was unharmed and was just happy to be released from the truck’s grille. One trooper on the scene said, “You could work another 90 years in law enforcement and never see something like this.” No charges were filed and no one was injured.
I have heard rumors that this was a hoax-any comments?!
